Not Broken
There are lots of things that I want to accomplish in 2013 ... but for now ... I'll share just one of them. Note: I'm posting it here to make myself accountable ... oh no ... :(
Project NO Buy/Shopping My Stash (12 months/1 year)
Yes you heard right, I will not be buying makeup for 2013 just shopping and reviewing my stash (0_0') - so that means no new foundations, blushers, nail polishes, eye shadows, eye liners, mascaras (don't worry I have more than a years worth unused), lip products (good grief I have decades worth) and brushes ... yeah I know ... no brushes ... :( - so I'm supposed to not buy anything ... only exception (because a gal always needs an exception) is if I run out of a category of product (grumbles: unlikely) OR my brushes are damaged ... something like that.
but wait ...
This doesn't mean that I'll stop blogging (muhaha) it just means, that you and I will get more acquainted with the stuff I've collected and I'll actually be using my stuff more ... because it will be all I have to use ... (cries).
This means no makeup buying at all ... not even if Dior Eyeshadow Palettes are reduced to 50p (hmm ...maybe that's an exception too lol ... weeps bitterly). My siblings (one sister in particular) honestly don't think I can do it and have already tried to tempt me with very tempting offers, that (she's) they've dug out of who knows where on the internet and yes I have succumbed (bought a bunch of polishes) but its not 2013 yet (hehe). There is some good things that will come out of this though - as I will be adding swatches to my reviews and try to update my blog more frequently.
On a less makeup/dismal note ...
I hope you're having a very festive holiday and wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!! Its nearly Christmas and I'm finally feeling a bit jolly. No, I have not started on the liqueurs but I'm going to be making my second cake and there's nothing like baking to warm up the most Ebenezer Scourge-like of beings.
