It feels good to be back with you. The last few weeks have been
full of travel and parties and visiting friends and relatives. It has been
fun but hectic and now that the holidays are over I am happily
slipping back into a regular routine.
It's quite chilly out today. The skies have been very cloudy and there
has been a steady rain since last night. David and I went out for
breakfast this morning because we had no milk for cereal and needed
to do a big grocery shop. Once that task was completed and all the
food put away, we just settled into a cozy day at home.
While David headed for his big comfy chair in the family room,
I headed for my studio to spend some time tweaking my blog. I
don't really like to make resolutions since they are so often broken.
Rather, I like to think of how I can tweak my life to make it better
for the new year, and that of course also includes this little spot I
share with you.
I cleaned up the look of my blog a bit. I was becoming tired
seeing the same background I had for months. I just wiped it all
clean and started fresh. At the end of this month, I will be headed
into my sixth year of blogging. So much has happened to me since
my very first post. Everything is different and as much as I love
tradition, I feel that I am ready for a bit of tweaking. The look of
this page is just the beginning. I am not sure exactly what direction
the content will be headed, but I want it to head onto the path that
is uniquely my own. I hope that you will follow me on this new
journey.
