Just came back from a delightful day at the
Bingerden flower show. The car boot was filled to the brink with roses, penstemons, geraniums and lots of other plants. We got a bit carried away.....there wasn't an empty space left in the car ;-) I haven't sorted out my photo's yet, but hopefully, I can show you some
next time.
I started on some new
doilies last week. Inspired by one of my favourite crochet blogs, called
Haafner. Hoping I would make it to the end of the pattern this time and not get stuck at the sixth or seventh row. After weeks of messing around with my yarn and crochet hook, I believe that the penny finally dropped! The stitches and abbreviations are more clearly in my head. I came to realise too that looking at the symbols in a diagram works better to me than reading the, sometimes foggy, instructions.
I thought my new doillies would make a sweet post with some of my latest vintage finds. Hope you'll agree?!
If you like
vintage china, you may be interested in my facebook page. I only created it last week, but it is my intention to post vintage finds on the page, that I no longer have use for. If you are interested, you can find my
floral facebook button on my sidebar. You can find me on
Pinterest and
Bloglovin as well.
Wishing you a lovely new week. It will be warm and sunny in Rotterdam.
