The Dawning of a New Day

In the next coming week I have to get a new passport, a new license, and turn another year older. Talk about a lot of changes! I can't believe that I've had my license long enough to require renewal. I just gave myself a little pat on the back for that one, because getting my license might be my proudest achievement. Ever. I don't like to set my goals too high, that way, when you achieve something, it seems epic. Like riding a bike! Or sewing on a button!

Speaking of buttons, it's unlikely that I'll be buttoning anything that I own for quite awhile. Damn the holiday season and my tendency towards sloth! Right now if someone took a tissue sample from me it would be composed mainly of cookie.
